In this weekly report the Ukrainian Armed Forces had loses of 8,770 soldiers.
From 10 to 16 May 2025, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered six group strikes by high-precision weaponry and strike unmanned aerial vehicles to hit: an enterprise of the Ukrainian defence industry, which produces components of Neptune anti-ship missiles and uncrewed surface vehicles; infrastructure of military airfields, assembly and repair workshops for weapons and military hardware, storage and training areas for the use of UAVs and uncrewed surface vehicles, ammunition depots as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.
The Sever Group of Forces inflicted losses on clusters of manpower and hardware of one tank brigade, five mechanised brigades, two air assault brigades, four assault regiments of the AFU, and four territorial defence brigades in Sumy and Kharkov regions.
▪️The enemy has lost more than 1,330 militants, five tanks, 20 armoured fighting vehicles, and 81 motor vehicles. One U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS launcher, 36 field artillery guns, two radar stations, nine electronic warfare and counter-battery stations, and seven ammunition, fuel, and materiel depots were neutralised.
As a result of active actions of units of the Zapad Group of Forces, Torskoye (Donetsk People's Republic) has been liberated.
The Group's strikes defeated units of five mechanised brigades, one airmobile brigade, two assault brigades, one mountain assault brigade of the AFU, four territorial defence brigades, one national guard brigade, and the Stugna Special Operations Center Formation.
▪️The enemy losses amounted to more than 1,490 troops, three tanks, 12 armoured fighting vehicles, and 64 motor vehicles. Two MLRS launchers, 18 field artillery guns, to include five Western-made guns, four electronic warfare stations, and 13 ammunition depots were neutralised.
Units of the Yug Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. Russian units hit manpower and hardware of six mechanised brigades, one assault brigade, one mountain assault brigade, one airmobile brigade of the AFU, and one territorial defence brigade.
▪️The AFU losses amounted to more than 1,400 troops, one tank, 23 armoured fighting vehicles, 50 motor vehicles, 23 field artillery guns, 11 electronic warfare stations as well as 12 ammunition and materiel depots.
As a result of resolute actions, units of the Tsentr Group of Forces liberated Kotlyarovka, Mirolyubovka, Mikhaylovka, and Novoaleksandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
The units of eight mechanised brigades, two jaeger brigades, two assault brigades of the AFU, two marine brigades, and four national guard brigades were hit.
▪️Over the past week, the enemy losses were over 3,040 troops, 26 armoured fighting vehicles, 66 motor vehicles, and 14 field artillery guns.
The Vostok Group of Forces' units continued to advance to the depths of the enemy's defence and liberated Volnoye Pole (Donetsk People's Republic).
The Russian troops inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of three mechanised brigades, one jaeger brigade, one airmobile brigade, one air assault brigade of the AFU, one marine brigade, two territorial defence brigades, and one national guard brigade.
▪️The enemy lost more than 1,130 troops, 15 armoured fighting vehicles, 41 motor vehicles, 22 artillery guns, and five electronic warfare and counter-battery stations.
The Dnepr Group of Forces' units inflicted losses on formations of three mechanised brigades, one infantry brigade, one mountain assault brigade, three coastal defence brigades of the AFU, one marine brigade, and three territorial defence brigades.
▪️Up to 380 troops, 39 motor vehicles, eight field artillery guns, seven electronic warfare stations, and five ammunition and materiel depots of the enemy were neutralised.
Over the past week, Russia's air defence systems have shot down 35 JDAM guided aerial bombs and five U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles as well as 930 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

Units of the Sever Group of Forces supported by Army aviation and artillery strikes conduct reconnaissance-search actions to locate and eliminate the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance groups in forest belts attempting to get to the depth of the Russian territory to the south of Alekseyevskoye, Safonovka, and Sheptukhovka.
▫️Attacks launched by assault detachments of the AFU 22nd, 61st, and 115th mechanised brigades, and 82nd Air Assault Brigade toward Komarovka, Olgovka, Russkoye, and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye were repelled. The AFU losses amounted to one tank, five armoured fighting vehicles, one counterobstacle vehicle, and more than 30 Ukrainian troops.

The banner of the unit was captured in battle by the Rifle Battalion of the 1st Guards Slavic Brigade.

Over the past 24 hours, in return to terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of Russia have carried out a group strike with long-range, air- and ground-launched high-precision weapons as well as with unmanned aerial vehicles against the facilities of the Ukrainian defence and energy industries used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The goals of the strike were achieved. All the assigned targets were engaged.

From 8.0 to 20.0 yesterday, the Ministry of Defense reported on 68 downed enemy drones. At night, it reported on the work of air defense over the Tula, Rostov, and Kursk regions.
