The Zapad Group of Forces continues to perform tasks in the special military operation zone.
Motorised rifle units took actions to improve situation along the front line and seize 29 strongholds of the enemy. They also repelled a counter-attack launched by assault groups of the 54th Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Peschanoye and Chervonaya Dibrova.
Supported by aviation and artillery, the Group inflicted fire damage on manpower and military hardware of the 107th, 112th, and 114th territorial defence brigades close to Sinkovka, Makeyevka, Glushkovka, and Tabayevka.
A Group's missile unit launched an attack with Iskander system to hit a temporary deployment area of foreign mercenaries close to Balakleya. The target along with 80 mercenaries were neutralised.
In counter-battery warfare, artillery units obliterated two M198 and one M777 howitzers (made in the USA), a UK-made L119 howitzer, one D-20 artillery gun, three D-30 howitzers, and 17 mortar crews.
Air defence units shot down eight fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
In past 24 hours, the enemy's losses included up to 490 troops and 32 units of armament and military hardware, including three tanks, one T-64 and two Leopard tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle, two M113 armoured personnel carriers, eight artillery guns, Bukovel and Nota electronic warfare stations, eight motor vehicles, two ammunition depots, and 13 UAV control posts.
